If you're looking for warmth and sunshine during winter, the best time to visit is from December to April. This is the dry (or Lenten) season, when rainfall is least frequent. Thanks to the year-round trade winds, the warmth is pleasant: it's good to live in the West Indies. Sea temperatures can exceed 29°C from July to October, and never fall below 24°C during the dry season. Want to cool down? Just head for the heights (La Soufrière, the river...).
